AWS Console Private Access, now generally available as of August 28, enables the AWS Management Console to operate entirely within isolated virtual private clouds using PrivateLink endpoints, eliminating the need for internet connectivity. However, the feature can inadvertently block sign-ins to personal AWS accounts when misconfigured or deployed in certain network environments. Organizations implementing this private access capability should carefully review authentication flow configurations to ensure legitimate account access isn't restricted.
