Alleged TeamPCP Hackers Charged in Australia Over Major Supply Chain Attacks

Australian Federal Police have charged two Western Australian men with 14 offences related to their alleged involvement in TeamPCP, a cybercrime group responsible for compromising open-source security tools Trivy and Checkmarx KICS as well as the AI gateway LiteLLM in March 2026. The charges against 23-year-old Louis Michael Gaebler and 21-year-old Ruben Ian Thomson represent a significant enforcement action against the supply chain attack campaign, with both defendants appearing in Perth Magistrates Court on August 27.
