Proton's AI Paper Trail is a free tool that analyzes exported ChatGPT or Claude conversation histories to generate privacy reports detailing what can be inferred about users from their AI interactions. The tool demonstrates how seemingly innocuous individual questions can collectively reveal sensitive personal information, with uploaded data deleted after analysis rather than being retained on servers. This offering highlights growing concerns about the privacy implications of extensive AI conversation data accumulation.
AWS Network Firewall now provides rule hit count visibility, allowing security teams to identify which stateful firewall rules are actively matching traffic and pinpoint unused or redundant rules. This capability applies to both custom and managed rule groups, is enabled by default at no additional cost, and helps validate that security controls are functioning as intended. The feature excludes stateless rules from monitoring.
